Ben Ganley

CEO

Appointed as Chief Executive in March 2014, Ben has lead the transformation of Souq Extra into the UAE’s leading community property developer, operator and investment partner.

Prior to landing in the UAE, Ben spent five years as Chief Executive of multiple private and public joint stock Kuwait and UK property development and investment companies held by the Al Khorafi family, including US$988 Million London listed RAK Real Estate Ltd.

Ben moved to Kuwait from London in 2008, where he was based as a Director of London boutique private equity firm TIC, specializing in UK residential real estate and infrastructure.

Before leaving Australia, Ben lead the Lend Lease Communities business in the Northern Territory, where he was responsible for delivery of the master planned communities ‘Fairway Waters’ and ‘The Chase’. He was formerly a manager with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments (‘LLREI’) and earlier in his career, an analyst in Corporate Insolvency at Deloitte.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Charles Darwin University in Australia, and served as an alternate Board Member on the University’s Foundation.

Ben is an active Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and Institute of Directors in London, the Australian Property Institute, Australian Marketing Institute, and the US-based Project Management Institute.

Ben is married with a five-year old son.

Nicolas Majeau

Finance Director

Nicolas Majeau is a senior finance professional with 15 years of accounting and financial management experience who joined SouqExtra in 2015.

Nicolas provides leadership in financial and operational reporting, planning and treasury to ensure reliable and timely financial, operational and management information.

Nicolas is responsible for developing and implementing policies, planning and budgeting processes, providing analysis to support management decisions as well as debt and equity raisings for development and operational activities.

Prior to joining Souq Extra, Nicolas held senior finance roles throughout Canada, Australia and Indonesia, with such notable firms as DeVimco Immobilier, InterGen Australia, Deutsche Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Nortel Networks.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor’s degree of Administration and Economics, and post-graduate degree in Public Accounting from HEC University in Montreal Canada. He is also a CFA charter holder and member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.

Sean Jordan

Development Director

Sean joined Souq Extra as Development Director in 2017, bringing with him over 23 years experience in project and development management.

Having held previous senior roles with Meydan Sobha, Meraas, Aecom and Aldar during his 12 year tenure in the UAE, including Senior Resident Engineer for the UAE University – Package 3 [full infrastructure], Sean has delivered a vast portfolio of projects ranging from infrastructire and offshore island and bridge developments to luxury residential, retail, hospitality and mixed use tower projects.

Before leaving Ireland, Sean held professional roles with Consulting Engineers, Public Service and Civil Engineering Contractors.

Sean has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Queens University Belfast, is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland and a Prince 2 Certified Practitioner from APMG International.
