UAE Flag Day is an official event celebrating the symbolic flag of this country.
UAE Flag Day was commemorated on 3rd November 2013, the date President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan took office. This year, however, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the celebration will be on 1st November as 3rd November happens to fall in the weekend.
On this special occasion, the UAE flag is hoisted all across the nation.
