Dubai Silicon Oasis - Souq Extra

Souq Extra Dubai Silicon Oasis (“DSO”) Phase I opened in January 2017. The centre comprises 36 retail tenancies with a total gross leasable area of 35,511 SqFt distributed across a ground floor level.

DSO is a mixed use master planned development comprising residential, commercial and retail premises, wholly owned by the government of Dubai and spanning an area of approximately 7.2 SqKm.

DSO is a Dubai Land Department onshore and free zone area, specifically  for high tech and telecommunications industries, comprising offices, industrial zones, healthcare facilities, villas and apartments.

The primary catchment area for the centre comprises 24,000 DSO residents and the tertiary catchment of Dubai International Academic City, South of DSO, with a working population of 24,000 and a resident population of 4,000.

There are several technology companies such as Schneider Electric, Henkel, Fujitsu, Western Digital, Nortel and 3W Networks that have set up offices in DSO.

Souq Extra DSO is situated to the East of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), close to Interchange No. 2 of Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66).

DSO lies in close proximity  to Academic City via Academic City Road (D54) and approximately 15 km South of Dubai International Airport via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311).
