The Al Bateen community of Al Ain has a new independent bakery café – Cakes and Crumbs – at the Souq Extra shopping centre.
Marking its first official location, Cakes and Crumbs specializes in American home-style cakes and cupcakes, including New York Style Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, Red Velvet, and more – all freshly baked in-house.
“We’re pleased to welcome Cakes and Crumbs to the Souq Extra community,” said Ben Ganley, CEO, Souq Extra. “We are keen to offer our patrons a convenient and wholesome gathering place for family and friends. With few independent coffee shops in the Al Bateen residential community, Cakes and Crumbs is a welcome addition.”
Souq Extra Al Bateen, located in Al Ain just outside Dubai, is the largest Souq Extra development to date at just over 54,000 square feet. The expansive location encompasses 50 retail, dining, and leisure facilities, including the anchor Spinneys supermarket.
A convenient shopping destination, Souq Extra is easily accessible from Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Road. Within close proximity are international schools and the city’s major business hubs, such as Media City, Emaar Business Park and Internet City.
Souq Extra Al Bateen is open daily from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm.
