March 1, 2018
It’s the first of the month! Given February only had 28 days, we are in the third month of the year a little too soon.
But did you know that March is infact the first month of the earliest Roman calendar? Perhaps a ‘Happy (Roman) New Year’ greeting is in order!
The month of March is named after the planet Mars. Mars is the Roman god of war and is regarded to be the guardian of agriculture. It is no wonder that many parts of the world celebrate the spring harvest season around this time.
Here’s wishing you a wonderfully ripe, happy month ahead.
